The Key Features of KESMILD®-108
KESMILD®-108 is a white liquid Styrene/Acrylates Copolymer used as an opacifier in personal care and cleansing products. It is preservative free, with 39–41% total solids and a viscosity of no more than 100 mPa·s. The recommended addition level is 0.1–1.0%. It can be added by cold process and is suitable for formulations where a milky or opaque appearance is required.
The Applications of KESMILD®-108
KESMILD®-108 is suitable for shampoos, conditioners, shower gels, liquid hand soaps and other rinse-off products. It can also be used in home care and industrial and institutional cleaning formulations. In hair care, it is mainly used to give a transparent or translucent base a more opaque and creamy appearance. The liquid form also makes it suitable for routine formulation and production processes.

For formulation use, KESMILD®-108 can be pre-diluted with water at a 1:4 opacifier-to-water ratio. Add it after the final pH adjustment, and keep the finished product above pH 4.
